Mine is in for the delayed engagement issue where after sitting overnight, when going into drive there is a 3 second delay followed by a harsh "bang" as it engages. That tsb is 16-NA-014. It's also possible you will have some warranty left on the 2018. If it was a certified pre-owned, the powertrain warranty covers transmission/TC for 6 years 100k miles, otherwise I think the 2018 was 5 years 60k miles. I would personally get the '18 with zero hesitation.
